Many can be found on the Steam workshop page for American Truck Simulator. I am constantly discovering new or better mods that really enhance American Truck Simulator but listed below is my current essentials list. Not all mods are great but some mods can become an essential part of your game especially when you want to try to create the best (and most realistic) game experience possible.
In my previous post about American Truck Simulator I mentioned briefly the added benefit of using mods in your game. Updated 7/22/19 (for ATS version 1.34 and some mods updated for ATS 1.35) Now click on the truck manager and choose the truck which you have customized and click on Drive it Option.The Open Road in American Truck Simulator You can change the color of its body, change chassis fairings, and even you can change the engine up.ġ6. Now click on the truck you want to customize. Now you are in the mod dealer now and you will find the Kenworth K100E that you just installed.ġ5. Then click on the ‘Access Mod Dealer’ Tab at the bottom right corner.ġ4. So you will need to click on Truck Dealers.ġ3. When the game loads up and you want the modded trucks to use then you still have to pay for it in the game as they don’t show up straight away in your garage. Now come back to the game’s screen and click on the Continue game.ġ2.
You can also see the active mods shift to the right side window under the Active Mods.ġ1. Now click on the mods you want and make sure to hit the radio button so that it turns green and becomes active. When you arrive at the main menu of the game, click on Mod Manager (New MODs Found).ġ0.
